Greens for Breakfast

Today I offer you a quick and easy breakfast smoothie of greens. This is for those days when your elaborate eggs, spinach, tomato, avocado and mushroom just doesn't fit into your schedule. This powerhouse has all the essentials for breakfast - antioxidants, energy, good fats, minerals and protein. Give it a go. 

Green Breakfast Smoothie

2 large handfuls of Green leafy Vegetables (Spinach, Kale, Silverbeet, Beet greens, Mustard Greens etc)
1 cup filtered Water
1 frozen Banana
1 heaped tbs Tahini
1 level tbs Raw Honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Sprinkle of chilli powder if you dare

Blend all ingredients on high until smooth.

I enjoyed my full glass and Elijah seemed excited to try some. He had already had his breakfast, and I thought it a little ambitious of him to fit in more smoothie. Turns out there wasn't any more room and it dribbled out. How cute!
